"Look at you! Glowing like a solar fire. You're something special, Jim. You're gonna rattle the stars, you are!" Directors: Ron Clements and John Musker Writers: Ron Clements, John Musker and Rob Edwards Cinematographer: --- Composer: James Newton Howard Cast: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Brian Murray, David Hyde Pierce, Emma Thompson, Martin Short, Michael Wincott, Michael McShane, Laurie Metcalf, Roscoe Lee Browne and Dane A. Davis Review: This movie came out around the time when i was just oo cool for Disney cartoon so i never got around to watching it until now. And i really enjoyed it. Outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, we don't really get enough pirate movies. That really is a shame because they can be very fun. I just hope with the trend of Disney remaking all of their animated movies these days as live action movies they might one day do it with this one as well. I think that could work.

"So what the hell kind of show are we going to do next week?" Director: Jodie Foster Writers: Jamie Linden, Alan DiFiore and Jim Kouf Cinematographer: Matthew Libatique Composer: Dominic Lewis Cast: George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jack O'Connell, Dominic West, Caitriona Balfe, Giancarlo Esposito, Christopher Denham, Lenny Venito, Chris Bauer, Emily Meade and Aaron Yoo Review: This was a decent, but forgettable thriller. It started up pretty strong and was pretty tense for a while, but at some point that all went away and the ending was just kind of dumb. But still, it's worth watching when nothing better is on and you like George Clooney and Julia Roberts. There is nothing special about their performances here either, but they are both still good as usual.

"He dressed like your grandfather, had the table manners of a horse, but he was a great manager." Director: Steven Brill Writers: Dan Bulla, Tim Herlihy, Paul Sado and Adam Sandler Cinematographer: Dean Semler Composer: Rupert Gregson-Williams Cast: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Hudson, Kevin James, Colin Quinn, Nick Swardson, Jackie Sandler, Terry Crews, Rob Schneider, Lamorne Morris, Aaron Neville, Luis Guzmรกn and 'Weird Al' Yankovic Review: What a disappointment this turned out to be. Well, maybe disappointment isn't the right word because i don't really have any expectations for Adam Sandler movies anymore. I love movies like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy, but his comedies really hasn't been all that great lately. This however i felt had potential. Sandler was finally playing a character gain instead of just himself, and the premise of a talent manager like this could really work in a movie. But there is just too much wrong with this. First of all, it's just too damn long. There was absoluelt no reason for this movie to 130 god damn minutes long. I could not believe my eyes when i checked how much was left of the movie after about 40 minutes in. If i wasn't so stubborn i would have turned the movie off right then and there. One thing the definitely could have cut from the movie was all those pontless celebrity cameo interviews that were randomly popping up throughout the movie. None of them were even remotly funny and it just took me out of the movie every time they popped up. Another thing that could have been cut was the whole romance subplot between Sandy Wexler and Jennifer Hudson's character. It served no other purpose than to let Adam Sandler make out with Jennifer Hudson for a couple of scenes. It was also kind of creepy for some reason. I guess i just have to say it again. Netflix original movie just aren't very good. I'm also probably done watching Adam Sandler's new movie now unless one of them gets some surprisingly good reviews at some point. I doubt that tough.

"If I saw a competitor drowning, I'd shove a hose down his throat." Director: John Lee Hancock Writer: Robert D. Siegel Cinematographer: John Schwartzman Composer: Carter Burwell Cast: Michael Keaton, Nick Offerman, John Carroll Lynch, Linda Cardellini, B.J. Novak, Laura Dern, Justin Randell Brooke, Kate Kneeland and Patrick Wilson Review: I'm a huge fan of Michael Keaton so was really looking forward to this movie, but when it came and went without much of a fuzz in theaters i just kind of forgot about it. While Keaton was great as usual, i can see why this movie didn't get much attention. It's not a bad movie, it's just kind of bland. Nothing all that much really happens. It's a fascinating story, but i feel it would be better suited as a documentary rather than a movie like this. Watch the movie if you are a huge Michael Keaton fan, if not it's not really worth it.
