04.06.2017
"We are all now officially international drug smugglers. Add it to the resume." Director: Rawson Marshall Thurber Writers: Bob Fisher, Steve Faber, Sean Anders and John Morris Cinematographer: Barry Peterson Composers: Ludwig Göransson and Theodore Shapiro Cast: Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter, Ed Helms, Nick Offerman, Kathryn Hahn, Molly C. Quinn, Tomer Sisley, Matthew Willig and Luis Guzmán Review: Just as funny as the last time i watched it. Will Poulter steals the movie. As bad as most comedy sequels are, i wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to this.

"Lewis is it you?... Or is it just me?" Director: Olivier Assayas Writer: Olivier Assayas Cinematographer: Yorick Le Saux Composer: --- Cast: Kristen Stewart, Lars Eidinger, Sigrid Bouaziz, Anders Danielsen Lie, Ty Olwin, Hammou Graïa, Nora von Waldstätten, Benjamin Biolay and Audrey Bonnet Review: This is one of those movies i knew absolutely nothing about before deciding to watch it. I actually really like Kristen Stewart as an actress. She can be really good when given a better script than whatever Twilight was. She especially proves that here. This has to be one of her best performances, if not the best. The rest of the cast were also all good, but this really was her movie. It pretty much only focuses on her character. The movie was also nothing like what i expected. I'm not gonna say anything more than that because i loved not knowing anything before watching it. It is a very slow movie though. Especially the first half. But once it gets going it really hooked me. It's probably one of my favorite movies of the year so far.

Captain America: Civil War
25.05.2017
"This job... we try to save as many people as we can. Sometimes that doesn't mean everybody. But if we can't find a way to live with that, next time... maybe nobody gets saved." Directors: Anthony Russo and Joe Russo Writers: Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely Cinematographer: Trent Opaloch Composer: Henry Jackman Cast: Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Tom Holland, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, Martin Freeman and Marisa Tomei Review: I'm really looking forward to the new Spider-man movie so i decided to watch this one again before it comes out. He really is the best part of the movie by far. The movie itself didn't hold up as much the second time around. It dragged on a lot at times and some of the character motivations for which side they ended up on were paper thin. The big fight scene at the airport is still great though. It's almost as hame the movie didn't end there because it's all downhill from that point on. And when in the end everyone because friends again after all what was even the point. Gotta set up that next Avengers movie.

"Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. Two questions for you, Eddie: where's Chris and where's the money?" Director: Dito Montiel Writer: Adam Mazer Cinematographer: Dana Gonzales Composer: David Wittman Cast: Liam Hemsworth, Michael Angarano, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Ben-Victor, Emma Roberts, Jerry Ferrara, Greg Vrotsos, Michael Rispoli, Nikki Reed, Shenae Grimes-Beech and Chris Diamantopoulos Review: I'm a big fan of Dwayne Johnson. He isn't the best actor, but very few people are as charming and likeable as him on screen. So when i noticed a movie from him i hadn't seen before on Netflix i decided to give it a shot. It was not worth it. First of all, despite being in front on the poster, he is barely in the movie. This is a Liam Hemsworth movie. Dwayne plays a cop who shows up here and there. The scenes were he shows up are also the only good parts of this movie. This is one of the most generic crime movies i have ever seen. Not a single original character or surprising moment to be found. Michael Angarano also plays one of the most annoying character i have ever seen in a movie. I think we are supposed to sympathise with him by the end of the movie, but i could not fucking stand him. This movie is not worth watching, even if you are a die hard Dwayne Johnson movie. Just look up his scenes on Youtube or something. You won't be missing much.
